Summer time

The clock of Notre-Dame church to remind everyone that it's our turn to switch to summer time! Unlike a lot of other people, the time change doesn't affect me. What I do hate is "losing" a whole hour's worth of precious sleep!

Oh, I like this composition, CQ! And the color!
Excellent.

I'm surprised you're just now going to "summer time." We did that 2-3 weeks ago...

As I've gotten older, the more I think we ought to leave time alone. In fact, I like time less and less. I want more time, not less.

Are you confused?

I'll go away now.

@Jacob no I'm not confused and I do know what it feels like to get older and feel time is running away. As to why we always switch later than you do, I don't know! It's the same in October...

I love having daylight for one more hour. What I really ate is the other way round, shorter days are awful!
Great detail on this shot.

On the bright side, you'll get an extras hour in the fall.

It is a beautiful clock and just think in 6 months you will get a whole extra hour to sleep in. LOL MB

I love this shot too. You really do stop time with your lens...
And thanks for your kind comments, not just on my blog, but where ever your CDPB travels take you. I'll visit a blog and there you'll be, like an old friend, sharing something thoughtful.

Love the fine detail you've captured in this great shot, Ciel - even the anti-bird needles on the ornament.
Timely indeed is your post. Fret not though, your "lost" hour shall return.

At least it's on a Sunday morning so there could be some time for sleeping anyhow.

Regarding which date to switch, I'm reminded of the old saying: "Standards are good. Everybody should have one." ;)

Beautiful clock! Time changes don't bother me either, but it must be a problem for many people as statistically there are more auto accidents on the Monday after the clocks are moved forward and back. I wonder why!

Love this! Clocks are so cool. The 'Spring ahead' was tough for me to get used to!

Nice detail there. Doesn't effect me either.

Actually it is rumoured that this practice could be abandoned. It has not been specified just when though. We have an area that does not abide by the time change and appear to suffer no ill effects.
