March Theme Day: Glass

I'm actually not sure this isn't crystal... It's one of those chandeliers that you've already seen from beneath, in Saint Louis cathedral.

So beautiful. Reminds me of the chandeliers in the Hall of Mirrors at Palais de Versailles.

Well, if it is in St. Louis Cathedral, crystal is perfectly appropriate. And isn't crystal a pure form of glass?

It's beautiful and reminds me of many I see in the South of France hotel lobbies.

The way it's glinting in the light it could be crystal. Very pretty.

One of the best way for glas is prettying into crystal. I can see the luminous power of crystal in your shot.

I have trouble getting my posts to come up on your site but want to tell you that your comments on our site are appreciated. This is our first theme day and we're enjoying every picture. Your chandelier photo is fabulous.

So pretty!! Happy theme day :)

The photo I shared for theme day was also crystal ... I understand crystal to be a form of glass and it photographs better than glass ... happy theme day.

It's a shimmering beauty, Ciel, within that lovely cathedral and the blue tint really sets it off. Nice choice for the theme too!

I bet when light goes through the crystals there are tiny rainbows all over the ceiling and walls.
