Angelic

Let's just go into Saint Louis cathedral again, shall we? Because you see, I like these ornamental cherubs that crown a bench, if I recall correctly!
------------------------

Hi,

Can you tell us about your place. Is it typical France City or Town?

Hope to have an exchange link with you.

Most fascinating. This cherub carving seems to be over the top just to decorate a bench...is it very old?

I am glad you enjoyed the Saguaro cactus and the Frank Lloyd Wright spire. they are both unique! I liked your cherubs today. Such detailed, hand-cared wood is rare. I also liked your downside photo. I remember well how crowded it can be. Versailles is such a gorgeous place.

Its fascinating how cherubs have played such a huge role in art....and I wonder why the buses never turn their engines off. [your previous post]

Thank you Cieldequimper for your kind words about our historical museum photo. The texture of the chocolate-colored cherub against the white ceiling is fabulous!

Can't imagine how long it must have taken the artist to carve it.
