That is early!
Ahhhh....to have a Magnolia tree on my farm. What perfection that would be.
Well you're certainly on fire at the moment, great stuff I love all the 'moody' skies pictures....I'm not much of a gardener but surely it's very early for buds, having said that we have a bush in bloom at the moment, it's a crazy world....
Crazy! It's January, not April.
Wow! Wouldn't expect these buds for several months. Is this a consequence of global warming?
This weather is crazy. Magnolia buds in January???
Cool. Another great French word to add to my lexicon. Merci.
Yes, they are very early but we haven't had a winter at all yet...
L'hiver passe vite...
silly magnolia tree, it's only january!
Sind sie nicht etwas früh dran?Noch ein paar Tage, dann sind sie in voller Blüte !
Isn't it a bit early for those buds to be showing? I hope they don't freeze.
As lovely it is to see the buds, I worry about the long range health of the trees and flowers that are blooming so early. In particular the fruit trees if there should be a hard freeze yet to come.
lovely angle .... i read early blooming wont stop spring flowers/flowering trees but may affect bulbs ...
We skipped winter?
We have buds out on the magnolias too and the temp today is -8˚C so they are probably rethinking the idea of an early spring! Winter has finally arrived.
Isn't that a bit early? I shouldn't be surprised though, the weather has been so warm.
Looks like the magnolia's are as confused as we are. Yesterday was 15C, today is -1C with very gusty winds. Shorts or parka? Love the castle. I'd like to take photos from the roof, I bet the view is great.
Beautiful as buds, glorious when in bloom, hope we will see Ciel :)
Buds in January!?!
