Tajine

Tajine Chez Tiouiche Versailles Moroccan restaurant
A few weeks back VDP had a delicious tajine lunch at Chez Tiouiche restaurant near the palace! Lamb with figs and walnuts for me (with a little cinnamon thrown in) and chicken with marinated lemons on the other side of the table, washed down with Moroccan rosé wine!

Il y a quelques temps, VDP a dégusté un délicieux tajine chez Tiouiche, restaurant près du château !

And this, below, is VDP's mint tea on the table!

This looks great, Ciel. I have a tagine and have made some nice lamb and date dishes, but I keep forgetting about it.

I was just talking about Tajine to my husband last night! Is that walnuts in there? Looks good! And love the ambiance of the resto.

Sounds pretty yummy, figs and walnuts would pair well and the lemon/chicken sounds interesting.

Everything is nice: the place, the dish, but I really can't stand the flavor...

Gorgeous Moroccan dishes Ciel.. oh and the food looks pretty scrumptious also. My sister cooked for us a dish with figs in it not long ago, so nice!
