Gadoue

While we're at it, here's some more works in the palace gardens: the water theatre grove is getting a makeover, apparently it will have a modern twist to it! VDP will have to return in the summer! In the meantime, here's a video of what it will look like (French with English subtitles.)

Heureusement tu as ton imperméable
Et ça n'empêche pas la gadoue" Jane Birkin

You have lots of mud like we do. It will be wonderful by summer time.

Not a fan of Cherubs but they are nice shots.

I trust that when you return all that mud will be gone.

A definite work in progress, but it won't be long before everything is complete!

It's an interesting video. I can see why the paysagiste was a bit intimidated to follow in the steps of Le Nôtre. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I'm sure you will keep us "posted" !

It is worth waiting for!

I guess you'll have to buy extra memory cards when everything is ready, it will be gorgeous, for sure! :-) Love the cherubs shot.

The project sounds interesting, you will have to return when it's completed. For now, I love the reflections of the trees in the puddles!

I am noticing big puddles. Looks like you have had lots of rain. Looking forward to see the finished layout.

You'd better go back in the summer to show us all the new beauties. MB
