There are many artisans who make baskets. I do not know anyone who uses baskets except for Easter and the odd picnic. Ars gratia artis.

J'aime bien ces paniers en forme de nids. les lignes rouges , ce sont des morceaux d'osier (?)que les "éleves" sont en train de tresser?

Not only the baskets, like nests, are lovely, but also the curtain in the background is very pretty.

I do like basket weaving. My friend used to make baskets from Pine needles. A certain type of pine needle extra long. She learned in Alaska. The Native Americans on the coast here did and still do a lot of weaving. Beautiful stuff. MB
