Dans la forêt...

Lost in a forest of trees to choose from at the flower market on Saturday!

Been there, done that. But no more! :-)

For several years we bought a live tree, and at midnight Christmas Eve we planted it in the yard.

Worked pretty good.

We used to do the live tree thing as well. Always so fragrant.

Did you find the absolutely perfect tree, Ciel?

I gather this tradition is about the same in France as in the US. We haven't done one since the children were still at home. We're not sentimental enough and probably just too lazy.

Looks like a nice assortment.

Good looking trees. We usually have one, if we're at home. Love the smell of conifers.

Un joli moyen de s'evader et d'en respirer a fond l'odeur.

We started with a fake tree a few years ago, but I suspect we'll go back to real ones soon. The trees drive my sinuses crazy, but it's so worth it.

Nice looking group of trees.

This reminds me of a time when, as a kid, I could get lost in this kind of forest, a long time ago!

I can tell you it would take me forever to pick one Ciel. They look lovely all grouped together like a mini forest.

A forest it is! Are they potted?

Nice memories of fragrant trees, an oasis on the pavement! It's pouring here, too, can you believe it :-)

@ JM: I'm pretty sure most of them aren't.

I don't think we are going to have a tree this year. Just haven't got one and I personally don't want to spend 55US for a small tree. But I have my Father christmases stationed around.

No email. ???

Smile!! MB

Did you get one?
I love a fresh tree, even though we only have a fake one. :)
