belle (et un peu dans le style naif) peinture murale (on se croirait dans le monde de Oui Oui)

Welch eine Freude muss es sein, dort zur Schule zu gehen.

Eine gute neue Woche dir.

The building is quite different that our elementary schools here. The mural is a delight and very well done and I'd guess it's meant to be a feel-good picture for kids to look at as they arrive at school. I'll bet it works, too!

It looks like a window into another place, if not another world. The unattended football looks lonely.

Love the colorful mural and the way it blends with the brick wall.

Such a sweet, delightful mural! How I'd love to be a child greeted by this mural at school.

(Enjoyed your comment about Paris bikeshare, the first one I ever knew of - a pioneer bikeshare :)

J'espère qu'il y a vraiment une aussi jolie petite cour derrière pour les enfants!

I think it is wonderful when the walls of schools are decorated with murals like this - so colorful and pleasing to the eye! And perhaps, an early start to art appreciation for the young ones. Nice find!

This is a sweet mural that put a smile on my face as soon as I saw it. Then I thought, "Hey, she found another one." Quite a feat in Versailles. I like the trompe l'oeil quality of this image. I think murals on school yards stir the imagination. And watching the muralist work must also be fascinating to young minds. Thanks, Ciel, for contributing to Monday Mural.

Haha! love Randy's comment.. it does look very three dimensional Ciel, I'm a big fan of the trompe l'oeil.

Am I going to be banished forever from blogland if I take a contrarian view and say this mural intended for kids leaves me a bit cold...? For me it lacks fun, joy, life... Of course any mural is better than no mural, and I'm glad you found another one for our mural meme... :-)
