This is the modern part of the Préfecture of the Yvelines (78) department (of which Versailles is chef -lieu, sort of 'county town'). Not the most photogenic building but a whiff of Chanel makes it better don't you think?
Voici l'immeuble moderne de la Préfecture des Yvelines, département numéro 78 dont Versailles est le chef-lieu. Ce n'est pas le bâtiment le plus photogénique de la ville alors j'ai pensé qu'une bouffée de Chanel le rendrait plus agréable...

It isn't this most architecturally interesting building, but it's quite nice. I bet you could photograph some interesting patterns.
It seems that even your routine buildings are more stately than many of our finer buildings. Chanel? Mmmm, a very fine scent, but don't get me thinking of that . . .
I'm not convinced that I want advertising that emits aromas. The marketeers intrude on my senses enough as is.
The ad does make it a nice shot.

I like the car reflection on the billboard. I just can't help thinking, the streetscape would be better with the advertising.
