Choses vues au vide-grenier de samedi

Things as seen at Saturday's car boot sale. 1 euro for each beer glass. Personally, I prefer the old school desk, complete with ink wells!
--------------
1 € le verre à bierre. Personnellement, je préfère le vieux pupitre avec ses encriers !

Interesting and t looks like you had many nice things to buy. Did you buy something??

Usually you don't see matching glasses in a boot or garage sale. You can buy the whole lot and have a party.

May be a pub closed down.

I like the desk too. A two seater at that. And what did come away with? MB

Oh I love the desk! Wow, ink wells - that's old school :)

Do you have room in your home for that charming old desk?

la table d'ecolier, que de souvenir, cela doit faire classe dans son salon quand tu as des invites ;o)

Fun!
You know, the desks in my elementary school in Chicago still had inkwells, although certainly not in use (I'm not THAT old). Certain boys would flick the cover up and down when they wanted to drive the teacher crazy with the noise.

Le petit bureau d'écolier fait fantasmer tout le monde, moi y compris! je collectionne les vieux objets d'écriture, alors j'ai juste l'encrier en porcelaine blanche qui va dessus..

The desk is very nice, but I'm not sure to fit in that tiny seat anymore...

I like to look at the different glasses and the logos, particularly Mortal's - that's an unusual glass to drink beer from. Beer bottle labels can also be fascinating. The desk is wonderful!

I sat at a desk just like that in grade school. Usually, with a nun breathing down my neck.

The old desk is really fabulous, I imagine a light artcraft in patna,it would be perfect in my room here! :)

Perhaps one could sit in the school desk and drink from the glasses. Is a car boot sale the equivalent of our flea market?

Gorgeous desk. That must be one large car to have a boot big enough to hold that!

I like the old desk too but I can't imagine where I'd put it in my house. :)

That desk is just charming! But I'm not sure my legs will fit under there ;D

I like the desk as well, though I've never seen double one before.

I remember those desks! And inkwells! I'd prefer a beer glass at this point!

The glasses are great but better when full! Love the desk too, no memories though as we used quite different ones.
