I can just imagine the whisper of that silk. Tres elegant.
Who in the late 18th Century was clean enough to sit on yellow silk? Only a few, I'm sure. It makes me think of wearing a white tee shirt to a barbecue restaurant.
I'd feel like a King or at least like a prince sitting on a chair or sofa like those!
This looks like the type of chair where one's grandmother would tell children not to sit.

I think I see a BENCH!!!!!!!!!! Yup! I like that yellow upholstered bench. . . made me smile and glad I did not miss seeing it. . . just late in coming.
