A la rencontre des producteurs, samedi, j'ai apprécié un moment passé sur le stand des produits de la ferme de Villeneuve, près de
Rambouillet. Rillettes et pâtés de chèvre et de chevreau (délicieux), chèvre frais, produits laitiers, volailles, jus de pommes.... Je ne suis pas repartie les mains vides !
Last weekend's farmers market event was also an educational one, with exhibits about farming in the Yvelines (département of which Versailles is county town) and bread making, from wheat to the bakery.

On Saturday, during national "Taste Week", a farmers market was held in the grounds of Madame Elisabeth's domain. Versailles is the 'chef lieu' (roughly translated as county town) of the Yvelines department of France, one of the largest départements in the country.
