Respirare l'ombra

While I'm at it, I might as well show you another of Giuseppe Penone's works currently exhibited at the palace. This is 'Respirare l'Ombra' (breathing the shadow - at least that is what it was translated like into French, no doubt VP will correct me if necessary). It is made of bronze and I actually liked the golden lungs.

Pendant que j'y suis, je vous montre également une autre des œuvres de Giuseppe Penone actuellement visibles au château. Il s'agit de "respirer l'ombre", c'est un bronze et j'aime assez les poumons dorés.

Spazio di luce

This is another Giuseppe Penone exhibit at the palace, it is called 'Spazio di luce' (space of light) and is made of bronze.

Une autre œuvre de Giuseppe Penone au château, intitulée 'Spazio di luce' (espace de lumière), elle a été exécutée en bronze.

Tra scorza e scorza

This year's exhibition at the palace is devoted to Giuseppe Penone whose massive trees are planted in the gardens. This is 'Tra scorza e scorza' (between bark and bark), made of bronze and oak. L'expo de cette année au château est consacrée à Giuseppe Penone dont les arbres massifs sont disposés dans les jardins. Voici "Tra scorza e scorza" (entre écorce et écorce) en bronze et chêne. Les thèmes du début du mois de la communauté des City Daily Photo sont de retour ! Le jardin du musée Lambinet revisité

You will have guessed that this is something to do with Le Nôtre year! This is the garden of Lambinet museum which was given a modern 'jardin à la française' twist by students of Tecomah environmental and life environment school.

Vous aurez deviné que ce "jardin à la française" revisité a un rapport avec l'année Le Nôtre ! Cette installation au musée Lambinet a été réalisée en mai par les étudiants de l'école de l'environnement et du cadre de vie Tecomah.

2013 Année Le Nôtre : land art au parc Balbi IV

Les "fleurs urbennes" par Aligna, c'est du land art au parc Balbi dans le cadre de l'année Le Nôtre. J'ai bien aimé voir les vraies pâquerettes au milieu !

Weekend Reflections: 2013 Année Le Nôtre, Land Art au parc Balbi II

Though I did not find any specific information on this structure in parc Balbi, I believe it is part of the land art exhibits of Le Nôtre year. The slabs on the other side of the pond are also part of the exhibit, they are Isabelle Aubry's 'garden of prints'. Weekend Reflections is this way! Computer problems mean I might not be able to visit your blogs.

Bien que je n'aie pas trouvé d'informations spécifiques sur cette structure au parc Balbi, je pense qu'elle fait partie des éléments de land art installés au parc Balbi dans le cadre de l'année Le Nôtre. Le dalles de l'autre côté de l'étang, c'est le "jardin à empreintes" d'Isabelle Aubry. Les Reflets du Weekend, c'est par ici. Des problèmes d'ordi, je ne pourrais peut-être pas venir vous rendre visite.

2013 Année Le Nôtre : land art au Parc Balbi I

As part of Le Nôtre year, land art has been installed in parc Balbi. This very green 'mecanic field' is by Vincent Leroy. Though there were little signs forbidding entrance, naturally madame had to walk into the field so that monsieur could immortalise the moment...

Dans le cadre de l'année Le Nôtre, du land art a été installé au parc Balbi. Voici "champs mécaniques" de Vincent Leroy. Bien qu'il y ait des petits panneaux en interdisant l'accès, naturellement madame n'a pas pu s'empêcher d'y entrer pour que monsieur puisse l'immortaliser...

Le cerf

Two days ago, I showed you the fox, the bunnies and the deer. Here's the stag, another of the animals of Olivier Roche's temporary land art exhibition in the Italian Musician's garden, as part of Le Nôtre year. I might just go back when the garden is actually open to have a closer look!

Il y a deux jours, je vous montrais le renard, les lapins et les biches. Voici le cerf, un autre des animaux de l'expo temporaire de land art d'Olivier Roche dans le jardin des musiciens italiens, dans le cadre de l'année Le Nôtre. J'y retournerai peut-être quand le jardin sera ouvert pour aller voir tout ça de plus près !

Some of you might remember that the Italian Musician's garden was getting a makeover. It is scheduled to open soon, I took these pictures from outside. More about Olivier Roche's land art the day after tomorrow! Oh and the pyramid like buildings you can see in the background of the second photo are Condamines primary school.

Certains d'entre vous se souviennent peut-être que le jardin des musiciens italiens était en cours de réaménagement. Il va réouvrir bientôt et j'ai pris ces photos par les grilles ! L'expo de land art d'Olivier Roche, j'y reviendrai après-demain ! Ah et les bâtiments pyramidaux que vous voyez à l'arrière-plan de la seconde photo, c'est l'école des Condamines.
