Bons potirons !

Now this came as a bit of a surprise...All Hallow's Eve is usually unnoticed here! Seen at the supermarket and below, at the greengrocer's in Montreuil neighbourhood. The last  Reine-Claude (greengage) plums were delicious! Tomorrow is All Hallow's day (All Saints) and that means a three day weekend, yay!

Halloween is inescapable here, a big industry. I think it's silly. Sorry to see it creeping into France.

I wonder if it will explode to the level here in the states. Once again, I failed to dress up :-(

Strange creatures are already roaming the streets of Florence and bands of kids are trick-or-treating everybody in sight...

And so it spreads to your side of the pond!

That's one creepy-looking dude but I do like the crates of straw and pumpkins. Personally, I'd rather celebrate All Saints than Halloween, though. But that's just me. :-)
