This is Apollo's bath grove in the palace gardens during the musical fountains night show. Again, these photos were taken in August and I apologize for showing them so late... The three sculptures, by François Giraudon and Thomas Regnaudin, make this one of the finest groves of the gardens!
The November 1 theme for City Daily Photo bloggers is "Heights." Ouch...
Gloups...

Fantastic!! Love your captures as always, Ciel! These are some of my favorites! Hope your week is off to a great start!! Enjoy!
Quite majestic.
This is unexpected. The royals seemed to love elaborate and stylish architecture. This cavelike spot is different from the others.
But, it would be a fine spot for a zebra.
Like walking into a fairy tale grotto! (In fact, this could be a backdrop for some elaborate ballet:) So beautiful!
Interesting but not something I would like in my garden.
Shall we all go bathe there? Hey, we came back. Pictures at 11. LOL MB
So beautiful! I'd love to see it.

Have never seen anything like this.
How creative to blend the sculptures into that magnificent natural stone with the waterfalls.
Not a fan of heights?
This is magnificent. I don't remember seeing this! Darn! Great shots, too. It's no wonder that the palace is so popular with people all over the world!
Intriguing photos and I don't mind at all that you are showing them "late."
Interesting sculptures in an unexpected place!
It's an enchanting scene and exquisite sculptures, beautifully shown Ciel.
Beautiful rock formation and lovely sculptures!

Lovely!
I've heard about the theme day being heights... so many possibilities from around the world for that.
