Astérix so this display at the supermarket yesterday made me smile! The latest Astérix comic was released this week. You had seen another shot of this escalator

Asterix is new to me, but I know I would enjoy the series (if I read French!)

I've heard of Asterix before, but I'm not sure if it's really penetrated North American culture.
One of my son's happiest moment as a kid was when he met the 'real' Asterix at the theme park near Paris...
I can't think about Asterix without thinking of Gerard Depardieu :)
