Weekend Reflections: la tour Marlborough en restauration

Queen's hamlet Versailles Marlborough tower restoration
Marlborough tower (which you had seen here) at the Queen's hamlet in the grounds of Petit Trianon castle is being restored! More Weekend Reflections are this way! VDP hadn't noticed her own shadow in the second shot, sorry about that!

Vous aviez vu la tour Marlborough ici. Les Reflets du Weekend, c'est par là ! VDP n'avait pas remarqué son ombre sur la seconde photo, désolée !

Lovely colours Ciel, good idea for a reflection shot. I think the shadow give an air of mystery.....

I kind of like seeing your shadow! Nice reflections. I can't wait to see what it looks like after the restoration is complete. I know you will be back to show us!

That shadow is fitting. The scaffolding cover is quite familiar, given how much of it is up around some of our parliament buildings.

Beautiful reflection, but... why are you sorry about your own shadow, it's nice and adds a graphical effect to the picture :-)

Lovely reflections! There's something I love about reflections in water.

Super reflection Ciel, somehow I imagined the tower would be shrouded by a much more decorative cover :)

Perfect reflection shot! You will have to show it to us again after the restoration is complete.

It looks a bit out of place with all that scaffolding...

I love the arches on the building beside the construction area. Hoping to view it after it's done. Your shadow is so subtle I missed it the first time viewing.

It is so awesome they take such good care of the buildings, I'm sure it will be stunning when it is revealed.
