Juste des arbres

Trees château Versailles palace
Just trees, because they are beautiful! These photos were taken in the palace grounds about three weeks ago. Note the wrapped statues in the second photo (you had seen more winter statues here)! The last shot gives you an idea of how humid this winter has been so far!

Ces photos ont été prises dans le parc du château mi-janvier. Notez que les statues sont protégées (vous en aviez vu d'autres ici).  La dernière photo vous donne une idée de l'humidité de cet hiver !

Very thoughtful of them to help keep the statues warm. :-)

Very pretty, Ciel!

It looks like a cross between Hartford where the trees are bare but the ground is snow covered and Naples where the trees are full but the ground is green.

I like that first shot. I always like the clear, blue winter sky with the bare trees showing.

Coup de coeur pour la deux: j'aime beaucoup la facon dont les statues sont protegee les arbres se depouillent. les statues se couvrent.

The statues look quite ghostly in their shrouds...

I think trees are especially lovely this time of year when we can easily see the trunks and limbs.

My goodness. You have had some humid weather!

The trees look wonderful against the deep blue sky.

Panning is a method where you follow a moving subject with your camera and deliberately use a slow shutter speed to blur the background while keeping the subject in focus. It is meant to convey motion.

They are very beautiful trees. It has been a very cold winter here but I'm enjoying it.
