Saturday was a gorgeous spring day in Madame Elisabeth's domain for the gardening event 'Words of gardeners'. Still walking at the pace of a limping snail, VDP enjoyed looking at this bouquet making workshop where concentration (and sustenance) were required! VDP would have liked to make it to the palace where Alain Baraton, head palace gardener, was organising a tour of Marie-Antoinette's domain, but couldn't have walked for so long.

Beautiful captures as always! I do hope your knees are healing!! I do know first hand how much they can hurt!!! Have a good week, Ciel!
Beautiful images, Ciel. Get your rest while you can.
I'm glad to hear that you are out and about a bit! That workshop would have been fun.
What a terrific workshop! Being a part of it, even if limited must have been a real pleasure. Get better!!
That first shot is so sweet.
Lovely roses!
Don't overdo it, take your time.
Roses are always beatiful. Good luck with the knees....anti inflamatories and rest helped mine.
j'aime beaucoup la banane sur la derniere photo ;)) ca devait etre un beau moment, vraiment dommage que tu n'as pas pu en profiter plus
What a charming set of pictures, the first one is lovely. Every day you make Versailles look so wonderful.
I can almost smell the scent of all those flowers.
how fun and i love the first photo :)
lovely ~
i enjoy arranging flowers, very much. Sorry to hear that something has happened to you, i hope it is not too painful and that you heal swiftly!
It's good to hear you are up and about, even if at a snails pace. It looks like everyone was having a good time. I leave the flower arranging to my wife, I'm not so good at it.
Not my cup of tea, but I can imagine this would be fun - to learn how to make bouquets. Were you able to partake or just watch and absorb pertinent info?
Glad you are able to be up and about a little bit anyway. You'll probably be jogging around the palace pretty soon!
I hope your speed will increase soon, but your eye for good pictures is still very, very good!
Very pretty! I hope you are able to get around better soon.
At least you were able to get out and about a little bit. Looks like the bouquet making was enjoyed!
That's a shame. Hope you'll be walking around at your old pace soon. Interesting shots.
What a nice event. I'm sorry that your healing is going slowly.
Hope you feel better very soon, Ciel!
You'd better get your limbs in order by September!!! MB
They make it look so easy, but it really is an art!
What a nice event. Great images too:)
