Le retour d'Italie

VDP is back with a few (well, a lot) of photos of Florence and... and... yes, at last, Livorno! It was a beautiful day spent in delicious company with fellow bloggers VP and Trillian of Livorno Daily Photo whom VDP had only seen in Paris and Versailles until now. We also met in Florence (see here and here!) Above, the Italian navy vessel Italia.

Livorno is a huge harbour...

Livourne est un très gros port...
...where the beautiful terrazza Mascagni offers a gorgeous view on the Mediterranean sea (and the prison island of Gorgona).

What better place than a lovely pontoon in Venezia quarter for a drink amongst bloggers?

Florence of course is incredibly beautiful.

Florence, bien sûr, est incroyablement belle.

The Ponte Vecchio, of course...

Bien sûr, le Ponte Vecchio...

Quel voyage!

So many treasures you saw and so many treasured memories you now have.

Let's face it, the bloggers with water in their cities are very lucky.

Now I am really jealous! I would love to go back to Florence! Is that pistachio gelato I see there? That was my favorite flavor when I was in Italy.

Welcome back Ciel.. and with these truly gorgeous shots from your trip.. must have been such fun to meet up with VP, I did already see the opposite side of 'that' table on VP's blog. Hope you are recovering from your mishap, you should slow down and take it easy :)

What a wonderful post! I love all these photos! And I'm a little jealous! You obviously had a great time and you got to see some very special places. I've always though Livorno was a beautiful city with all the water and boats. Each of these photos has its own charm. Thanks for sharing!

All is well. What's the "mishap" that Grace refers to?
