The coaches in front of the palace: a nightmare, especially as most of them leave the engines on while waiting... Sometimes, you can hardly see the palace! The second photo is a special for VP!

A wonderful shot...
That is a nice shot.
Which reminds me of Sartre's line, l'enfer, c'est les autres. At least all of the other buses.
Ah, a bus from VP's new home, Pisa.
:( C'est pas drôle!
VERY unfriendly!
Fancy looking coaches. Over here, they have reduced the smoke from these beasts, but they still smell horrible.
moi je râle aussi par les moteurs qui tournent à l'arrêt ; j'aimerai que quelques véhicules soient volés
Ah si on pouvait employer photoshop... lorsqu'on est en vadrouille! :-)
these look mighty fancy! what a pain that they block your view though :(
Do they keep the engines running in summer for the air conditioning Ciel? Oh la! never mind the environment hey!
I so wish I'd looked a bit more at the different flavours of ice cream, j'adore peanut butter, didn't realise it was an ice cream flavour.. I will definitely get back there to try it, thanks for the tip :))
Are these bringing the tourists for a look at the Palace? MB
Pisans at Versailles? They probably were going to Schönbrunn...
We came to Versailles on one of these buses. When we arrived there were just a few; when we left the place was jammed with coaches!
@ Perth: yes, I think it's because of the air conditioning.
I like the title. There have been many times when my photos where ruined by tour buses.
I always travel during the low-season because I want to avoid tourists. Is that ironic? :-)
Too bad they block the view, but I imagine it would be a fun way to go sightseeing for the tourist.
Hmmmm. I think you need legislation against idling bus engines. :)
