Marché de Noël dans le quartier Saint-Louis

A small Christmas market is held on 10 and 11 December at the initiative of several shop owners of Saint-Louis neighbourhood. After a week of rainy grey in grey, it was nice to see some sunshine! More to come during the coming week!

I like small markets. I like large markets. Do the vendors sell all kinds of things or just Xmas stuff?

The Saint-Louis neighborhood sounds like my kind of place!

So you mama makes you write letters to Santa? :-)

The more I see of this neighborhood, the more I like, I love street markets.

Hey, there's a Christmas Tree illegally parked in that space ;-)

I wish Christmas markets would be more common around here, they are fun to stroll around and enjoy.

Me again. Re your question on Ocala: this is the knee surgeon! One reason he's so good is he did his medical studies at the Univ. of Florida and also his residency and he had lots of practice operating on various athletes. In fact, he still operates on a lot of athletes.

The brilliant yellow buildings add so much cheer to this, Ciel.

Hooray sun!

The light gives the awnings an unnatural glow, as if they had their own source of energy.

It is all wonderful, Ciel. The background buildings are regal, and the foreground market tents and trees are the setting for a festive and happy time. I visited the Christmas markets along the Rhine on my recent trip. Loved them.

Peu de clients, un peu de soleil et beaucoup de sapins.

Nice light and color for those trees to enjoy on their last days outdoors.

What a difference between the light on the walls and the dark sky...

Gorgeous image Ciel, lovely light. It looks like one of those beautifully 'crisp' days that I always love even here in Perth we get them in Winter.
