December City Daily Photo Theme Day: action shot

Granted, this isn't exactly very much of an action shot... I missed lots of them, I was never quick enough for police cars whizzing by, that kind of thing. So here is police. In front of the palace, mounted police reminding people that you can't just park where you like! Click here to view thumbnails for all participants I am away for a few days, VDP continues on autopilot, see you soon!

Parking tickets are a revenue generator, and everyone needs money these days.

That's a cute little Audi. That photo really shows the magnitude of the palace!

Everything looks more elegant in France, including the mounted police.

I guess slow action is also action.
Seeing a horse always makes me happy.

hoping all is well, ciel, and that there are no parking tickets in your immediate future.

Anyone who would think that it is OK to park between a crosswalk and the adjacent intersection must think they are a member of royalty.

We could nee a squadron of these but they would need sabres to get the job done.

I like this a lot. Probably because I'm not getting a ticket! Being a police person is a stress-filled job and not one I would want. I remember about 25 years ago, a city cop sometimes stopped in my office for a cup of coffee...then he'd hang out for an hour or so until his shift was over. He didn't want to experience any more stress that particular day!

Still not back fully...had to get another computer and setting it up is a real process! Ugh.

Even if it's "slow" action, I like it!

I had to look twice - no horses in the city here except for special occasions. I like this photo!
