Une marée de narcisses et de jonquilles

On Sunday before the weather changed, I was taking a walk in Madame Elisabeth's domain. It was warm in the sunshine! To see more of Louis the 16th's sister's grounds, click on the label below!
Thank you for all your wishes yesterday for my love's birthday and sorry I didn't make it to most of your blogs, but after all it was his day !

Beautiful flowers and I am happy your sweetie had a good birthday even if you were together long distance.

You have captured beautifully the glory of spring...I can almost feel the warmth and smell the flowers!

Daffodils sure know how to chase the winter blues away!

The composition of the top picture is perfect. There wasn't as much spring in the often-chilly SF Bay area. We're home now and happy to return to this kind of scene.

I could be quite happy in Madame's Domain. I expect it comes with French cheese?

Both are wonderful but I love the top photo.

So pretty! I like how you did the large foreground in the first picture. It gives it a secluded feel.

Very pretty scene on such a nice day. Daffs always brighten up any area.

I haven't named anyone yet. The babies aren't mine---the neighbors. They have about 15 mares. MB

A wonderful sight, if not for those red horrors some great mind has placed in front of the building.

A beautiful spring scene with a decidedly French accent. But what are those red things that look like enormous skis?

Beautiful photos. I love daffodils and all the other spring flowers. This looks a lovely place to take a stroll on a warm day.

But what are those red sticks. They look like very large skis??
