Interesting. He looks a little large for the niche. I'm trying to figure out all the numerals. What am I missing?

A wonderfully whimsical courtyard.
Ciel, my daughter is coming to speak at a conference in Paris in August. Do you know of an affordable place she could stay for a week?

How funny! Thankfully, there no door directly below him should he fall. I like how the numbers are dropping all around.

Poor fellow, sitting up there all alone in all kinds of weather! Hope he doesn't fall. There must be a reason for this, but I can't figure out what it would be! ;-)

I wait until he falls down, lol !

Is there a story behind the statue? Why the bars on the windows, is it a court or something similar. Sorry for all the questions, but its an intriguing place. I deleted the last comment because of typos!!

This is great: I usually look around for things like these but are always harder to find.
The decoration above looks like a very nice sundial, but I can see it very well even after enlarging the picture. May I ask this detail for another post?

This does provoke so many questions, Ciel. Such a mysterious exterior.

Liefs Anett

Very intriguing image leaving me with more questions than answers. The figure is charming and puzzling, and I have even more curiosity about the blue sky and suns painting above with the tree and the V and VI numerals scattered about. . . Fun find!

Beautiful details, and I love the BLUE color too.

My grandparents lived on that street. Thanks for the picture

Belle trouvaille !
