Weekend Reflections: Sainte Bernadette

1930s Sainte-Bernadette church reflected in a modern glass building in Jussieu neighbourhood for James' Weekend Reflections. A non-reflected view for better detail left.
-----------

Great image, a reflection as clear as the original and a beautiful photo on the side.

Wow, great reflection. I especially like how the glass gives the image that wavy look. In the middle right square of the picture, is that a lamp post (almost looks like a coat rack!)? What happened to the rest of it?

Excellent, Ciel. In both cases. The reflection is quite stunning and it is a beautiful building.

Oh, I wanted to say that lawyers are like doctors and other professionals: there are good ones and bad ones; and some I like and some I don't much care for.

There's a lawyer in Versailles, who is also a very good photographer, and I like her a lot!

:-))

Great shots Ciel! The coat rack that is blended with the reflection looks cool. I like how you took the bottom shot.

Enlarging this was wonderful for the detail you captured in the reflection. I love the old being reflected in the new.
A terrific reflection!

Great reflection. The wavy lines give it so much character. And I like how the blue sky blends so well with the window frames.

Reflecting large architectural structures piecemeal in windows like this can give quite surreal and exciting results. That is part of the fun in doing this.

I really like that first shot. Clever idea. Through a glass--not so darkly. MB

The tower is an interesting image to begin with and looks even more so reflected. Good pic.

I really like the way the way you've fit the reflection so well into the glass. Yes, very clear.

The reflection is so good I thought it was looking out the window at the building. . . boy! Was I wrong!

Great reflection - I like the slight wobbliness due to the uneven glass.

I like the reflection of the church. What a great choice. Well captured.
