I enlarged the photo to see the water towers better and found that I loved the design of the stree lamps even more. Neat photo!
For some reason, I've always thought Versailles was flat. I can see that's not true!
I, like Tapirgal, thought of Versailles as flat ... I guess the part we drove through was relatively flat.

Versailles semble encaissee vue de la, pourtant lorsque l'on est en ville on n'a pas cette impression.
The towers look very fond of each other. They'd hug...if only they had arms. ;-)
