A Versailles, les poulets se font voler...

Chicken Versailles Domaine de Madame Elisabeth
This is unbelievable: the sign below says that the three chickens and the cockerel of Madame Elisabeth's park were stolen on 16 May. VDP saw this guy mid-July but he seemed alone in the enclosure around the henhouse... See some 2009 shots of the chickens here.

C'est incroyable... Mi-juillet, elle semblait être seule dans l'espace autour du poulailler... Pour voir les poules et le coq du domaine en 2009, cliquez ici.

What? I have four chickens in house and cannot imagine carrying them anywhere. I agree with Geoff's comment....is nothing safe?

Sadly, the bounds of human cruelty seem limitless.
