La rue de la Paroisse

Rue de la Paroisse Versailles
So yesterday we were looking right towards the market. Today we're looking left! This is rue de la Paroisse (parish street) with Notre-Dame church in the middle and the palace gardens at the very end! To see the view from the palace end, click here!

I'm sorry, I got distracted by all the markings on the road. :-)

It is a lovely street from any direction! I suppose at some time in the past everyone living on the street would be considered a member of Notre Dame?

It is always a delight to see Versailles through your lens. Despite my regular trips to France, I've yet to see Versailles and its infamous palace, but I immediately fell in love with the palace's forerunner, Vaux de Viscomte when I visited it for the first time. Best wishes for 2015.

A beautiful street. I like the comparison to the older post.

Love it! It beats looking at the dark runway at DFW, waiting for a plane to take me home.

Another wonderful view.

It's great to see this street from above. I can see the building that was in my last Weekend Reflections photo. It seems smaller from this perspective. :-)

The medical centre certainly provides lots of nice, distracting views!

I'm surprised that all the building are practically the same colour.

This view with sky included feels cold.

Ah, those are fabulous views of the street. Wouldn't it be great to have an apartment looking out on that ?
