Entrée royale de parking

Parking entrance Versailles Notre-Dame
On a walk just before Christmas, VDP noticed that the underground parking entrance at Notre-Dame market had been tampered with... in a rather nice and regal way, wouldn't you say? Zooming out to see this one from the antiques district! The arch is one of the covered market entrances. This allows VDP to take part in Monday Mural! Apologies for not visiting your blogs yesterday. It was a long day in France.

It's quite an unusual addition, but a visually pleasing one!

Do I get a horse escort to my car, that dude has a seriously cool hat. (I hope that was funny, I suspect you could use a little humor right about now.)

It was a long day indeed. I've been glued to France24 that has been streaming live video on the internet (since I'm still in the States). Anyway, thanks for providing a beautiful "time out" from the proceedings.

But I doubt there are equine sanitary facilities below.

Lovely mural. Like both your photographs of it. Followed the news of the demonstration in Paris yesterday. Viva La France.

Our 'tamperings' are far less elegant than this!

Quite the elegant entrance. Perfect signage for an antiques district. Thanks, Ciel, for contributing to this week's Monday Mural. Hugs.

That gentelman must be surprised. He had much less problems to park.
