The 7 of heart rugby tournament was held under the patronage of Henry Chavancy, French rugby XV player and Isabelle Ithurburu, TV sports presenter. The photos aren't too good because VDP was far away (and argghhh can't run!!!)

More action shots, sorry, told you VDP was a rugby fan!

Yep, some serious looking cumulus clouds building up there.

Some fine images here. Ithurburu is an unusual name. Where is she from? And, it seems that you have been having walking problems for quite a while. I know that you stumbled when visiting Livorno. What did you do to yourself?

Nothing better than people shots (unless it's people-in-action shots).

Good on ya for getting out and about as best you can.

@ Jack: it is a Basque name, in her case from the French Basque country! Thanks for noticing!

Hope your ankle gets better soon, it must be frustrating at events like this. Love the action shots though! :)

I remember seeing a bumper sticker that said "Rugby players eat their dead!" These are tough people!

When we moved here (in 2008), I was shocked to learn how much the French love rugby... I thought it was an English thing. Who knew !?
