I remember this parking lot...that's where our tour bus let us off. But there were many other buses then. And there were lots of people sitting around trying to sell souvenirs! :)
I think it's very true what Lowell has written -- I've found they same and not just here in the states, but when I lived in Europe, too! Great shot for the day, Ciel! Hope your weekend is going well!

Quite a lovely spot to be the end of the line!
That's the bus I will take to see the palace one day!
That's some destination.
A very popular terminus, I'm sure!
I love this shot. We bloggers should take them more often (note to self).
I really enjoying riding the buses in Paris. They're like mini-tours in themselves.
yay, we are there!
Not us, we walked from the train station...
A great street view!
The excitement builds and there is much anticipation.
Ah... so true Lowell. In every locale, locals trying pawn off mostly crap.
I'd rather walk! But it's nice to have a bus sometimes.
The end of the line.....so to speak. Maybe someday...MB
PS: no pkg yet.
@ Birdman: In Versailles, they aren't really what you could call locals...
I see those beautiful golden gates ahead there Ciel, so looking forward to seeing them again one day!
