I live those bright, vivid colors.
Wow Love the colors!!!
It is a beautiful pattern, and a stunning room!
Those are really bright colors. I guess it's to wake you up in the morning.
so beautiful!
I do! The color and texture are so rich it takes on three dimensions.
In her bedroom! The colours would keep me awake, I'm sure, but they'd be cheerful in a morning room, with plenty of coffee.Beautiful photos.K
It's very intricate and colourful! Could spend hours sitting there just admiring the detail!
Those are indeed stunning colors. I wonder how old that carpet is. It looks like it could be new.
Wonderful and colourful carpet... and what a beautiful room!
@ Stuart: manufacture de la Savonnerie, second half of the XVIIIth century (but designed in 1738).
Yes, quite striking. I want to walk there.
Effectivement pas le genre de tapis à placer n'importe où mais ravissant!
Pas mal d'inspiration à y piocher en extrayant chaque détail.
Literally gorgeous!
I do like it very much, brilliant mix of vibrant colours Ciel.. oh la! you wouldn't want to walk on here :)
Beautiful, deep, rich colors! I'm also fascinated by the turquoise-colored ginger jars on the fireplace mantel.~Lindy
It's great to see such beautiful colour!
WHat incredible colours.
I'm amazed at how vibrant the colors are. It complements the parquet floors very well.
Wow! That is a fantastic pattern.
Thanks for the response as to the age of that magnificent carpet. I find it amazing that its colors remain so vivid after all this time (and so many people treading on it).
@ Stuart: I don't know when the last people, with the exception of palace employees, have trod on it! It is out of bounds for visitors.
Everything is amazing in this room!
Great color! A bit gaudier than most folks would have today, but I suppose excess was in style back then.
Beautiful sights. Bedroom Princess Victoria is lovely. We slept there for about nicely.
Yummy colors!
