Amazing how the same objects can look so different in different photos - I like that old-timey Mercedes...well they *are* beautiful cars! :)

(I had a chuckle over 'I love Lucy' - thank you for the Monday laugh!)

Love that old Mercedes -- I bet "Louis" will, too! Hope your week is off to a good start and that you have good weather!

The same umbrellas or the same kind of umbrellas? And what is the Mercedes-Benz?

Re your question: The city of Ocala was founded near Fort King in 1846. Fort King was established to help keep the Seminoles in line as they were acting snarky toward all the wonderful white folks stealing their land. :-)

Why hide the Benz? It's such a beautiful thing!

I do like the car sign.

We have Mercedes in some of the places in this Saint Louis but none on signboards. I wonder if this is enough justification to raise the prices in the cafe.

One of my favourite styles of old Merc.

@ all: it is actually a shop front for license plates. I'm not sure I ever saw it open.

@ Lowell: the same.

@ Olivier : une boutique de plaques d'immatriculation.
