Weekend Reflections: lumières dans les fenêtres

Christmas lights reflected in windows for James' Weekend Reflections. The temperature dropped to about 23°F/-5°C at midnight, it's beginning to feel really Christmassy!

Les lumières de Noël se reflètent dans les fenêtres pour les Reflets du Weekend de James. La température est tombée à -5° vers minuit ce matin, ça commence à vraiment sentir Noël !

It is beginning to look like Christmas there and here it is very cold and we are supposed to get some snow.

The second photo is my favorite. I like the extra reflections from the basket wrappings.

Love both photos, but the reflection and warm light in the windows of the first one has won me!

Lovely delicate lighting strung across your streets. Puts a smile on my face as I look at it. We do not have much of this type of decoration. Maybe in our main park, Hyde Park. The golden star is just beautiful.

I like the overall colortone of these. They have a romantic feel to them.

it's hard to figure out what's reflection and what is direct view, particularly in the second one. A trick of the eye. The ambiguity makes it all the more interesting.

These are beautiful. I'd never have known they were reflections. They're perfectly lovely, especially the first one. And, I LOVE the new photo at the top of your blog! It's outstanding with the type, too.

I am sorry it is so cold. Last week it was freezing and then we had snow Now this week has been gray and rainy---but today was like Spring and the temp got to 55F. So weird. MB

Beautiful night shots in holiday light. The reflections are gorgeous in both pictures and these warm colors raise the temperature too, at least for the viewer.

All the extra lighting now gives many opportunities for finding reflections. These are nice.
