It is beginning to look like Christmas there and here it is very cold and we are supposed to get some snow.

Ce sont bien des feuilles d'erables. Le weekend dernier il y avait encore beaucoup de feuilles encore vertes mais avec le refroidissement de cette semaine cela a du changer. Mais on n'est pas sous la neige comme vous.

Lovely delicate lighting strung across your streets. Puts a smile on my face as I look at it. We do not have much of this type of decoration. Maybe in our main park, Hyde Park. The golden star is just beautiful.
I like the overall colortone of these. They have a romantic feel to them.
it's hard to figure out what's reflection and what is direct view, particularly in the second one. A trick of the eye. The ambiguity makes it all the more interesting.

These are beautiful. I'd never have known they were reflections. They're perfectly lovely, especially the first one. And, I LOVE the new photo at the top of your blog! It's outstanding with the type, too.

I am sorry it is so cold. Last week it was freezing and then we had snow Now this week has been gray and rainy---but today was like Spring and the temp got to 55F. So weird. MB
