Au bassin du Char d'Apollon

Bassin du Char d'Apollon Versailles automne
VDP's followers are familiar with this view. You have seen it here in the winter and here in the summer. Autumn was missing, so here it is!

Les habitués de VDP connaissent bien cette vue, déjà montrée ici en hiver et en été. Il manquait l'automne, c'est chose faite !

Love the first picture with the expanse of water in the foreground and it looks like it taken from a low angle....great stuff...and of course beautiful Autumn colours :)

Oh dear. We have some decent fountains but nothing like this. But a little known fact: our cross-state neighbor, Kansas City, is said to have more fountains than Rome.

Je préfère les contrastes de la deux.

Never get tired of images like these at any time of the year.

Love the fact that you have captured all four seasons. When you've been blogging as long as we have on our communities, it is fun to set those goals. Have you done A-Z VDP yet? If not, that could be a fun challenge . Happy Friday.

I've only seen it in summer (very cold day, though) so I appreciate the autumnal version!
