I'm always amazed to see how short people were back in the day and how impossibly small their beds looked.
It is quite an elaborate bed; have to smile when I consider how my children would have "managed" that bed!
Nothing at all like my bed.

I dunno...canopy beds always give me the heebie-jeebies. It looks like a giant spider which is going to spawn lots of little spiders while I'm sleeping. Lovely, though! :)

I'm surprised the fabric is Persian. It looks like something from much further east than that.
Charming. Though the bed looks kind of small.
You caught the fabric detail very nicely. It looks like a small but elaborate sleeping arrangement. I think I prefer my own snug bed.
