First things first, once you have entered Toile de Jouy museum inside Sweetbriar castle (you can see the reception desk through the door) you have to look up! VDP loves that Toile de Jouy deer!
Après l'accueil (visible ici par la porte) au château de l'Eglantine, on passe sous une coupole ! VDP adore le cerf en toile de Jouy !

Fabulous place, love the first picture...
Better and better! I'd not have expected such a colorful welcome.
He is a lovely deer! Cool ceiling, Ciel!
People still build themselves mansions to show off, but nobody would use a color scheme like this.
That deer would be easily spotted in the forest.
Very pretty! I like that decorated deer too - original. :)
The details of the ceiling and the colour combinations on the walls create an impressive room. There's always something new to discover in France. Thank you.
Beautiful dome and decor. Oh yes, and I like that deer too.
Deer are sweet, unless they are 'attacking' my garden. I could take this one however. Ha.
The colors in that first photo are magical! Love it!

A pink deer? (or is that magenta)? Looking up is the way to go, that's amazing.
More elegance! Stunning. Looks like that poor deer has measles, though!
I love everything about it Ciel, the colours, the delightful lightness of style, c'est tres charming.
What a beautiful place, love that deer! Is it a deer?
The deer is dear!
The deer looks very jolly!
Beautiful colours in there, Ciel, and that dome is amazing.
Magnifique coupole, et cerf pas à mon goût mais qui sied parfaitement à l'endroit je trouve
I love the arches and the colours used!
Colorful and welcoming.
Superbe le cerf! Il faudrait en "exporter" un au hameau de la Reine...
