Seem to adapt very well to urban environments from what I have observed.
What a beauty! I don't know if they're in this area.
Same here, more and more. Aren't they attracted to shiny objects or is that an old wives tale? Taxi picture tomorrow...
Well, you are lucky. This is a beauty, and so far as I know, there aren't any in this part of Florida.
We have an area about an hour north of Santa Fe where you can see them. They never travel this far south.
Cool capture Ciel, heaps of them here too Ciel, they can be aggressive around nesting time.
You car confusing untraveled English speakers, but for a good reason.
ainsi que de ces sales pigeons très envahissants !
Hope you saluted him?!
Perfect composition. It was as if he waited for you. (Hope you didn't stand under him for too long)!JanisGDP
A great capture!
I have never seen a magpie!
Magpies freak me out a little, but our ones don't seem as pretty as yours
Heard of them many times in literature, but this might be the first time I ever have seen one closeup. Ever.
Such a pretty bird!
I was thinking more like apple or cherry :-)
They're all over EW but won't hold still long enough for me to get a good pic.MB
I don't know why, but it is the same here, there are so many...
Les jolis bourgeons sont pas mal non plus ...
There are none here. Great pic, Ciel!
Magpies. I know the name but don't have any experience with these birds.
This is one bird I have never seen in person! I would love it if we had them here.
