ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! I don't know if they're in this area.
ReplyDeleteSame here, more and more. Aren't they attracted to shiny objects or is that an old wives tale? Taxi picture tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteWell, you are lucky. This is a beauty, and so far as I know, there aren't any in this part of Florida.
ReplyDeleteWe have an area about an hour north of Santa Fe where you can see them. They never travel this far south.
ReplyDeleteCool capture Ciel, heaps of them here too Ciel, they can be aggressive around nesting time.
ReplyDeleteYou car confusing untraveled English speakers, but for a good reason.
ReplyDeleteainsi que de ces sales pigeons très envahissants !
ReplyDeleteHope you saluted him?!

A great capture!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a magpie!
ReplyDeleteMagpies freak me out a little, but our ones don't seem as pretty as yours
ReplyDeleteHeard of them many times in literature, but this might be the first time I ever have seen one closeup. Ever.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty bird!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking more like apple or cherry :-)
ReplyDeleteThey're all over EW but won't hold still long enough for me to get a good pic.

I don't know why, but it is the same here, there are so many...
ReplyDeleteLes jolis bourgeons sont pas mal non plus ...
ReplyDeleteThere are none here. Great pic, Ciel!
ReplyDeleteMagpies. I know the name but don't have any experience with these birds.
ReplyDeleteThis is one bird I have never seen in person! I would love it if we had them here.
