Wohoo, it's August, the height of summer and it's Theme Day in the City Daily Photo community! Coming home from work last Monday to an empty fridge wasn't an option so the upcoming Theme Day provided the perfect excuse to try O'Bottega, a pizzeria on rue du Général Leclerc that VDP had heard of through the Facebook grapevine. Barbara and Walid's welcome was absolutely delightful and just look at the speciality pizza! Deliziosa! It is possible to eat there and to take away, which is what VDP did, as you will have gathered! Their Facebook page is this way and all takes on the August Theme are this way! Happy August!

Perfect! O'Bottega? Great name for a take-out place.
Yep, I agree with Jack!! Love the name!
Nice picture of the making of the pizza :-)
Ah, the never ending appeal of pizza. I believe you can find a pizzeria in every country in the world. My first meal in Paris after the long flight lo these many years ago was at Pizza Momo on rue St. Antoine. Still there! Your pizza looks better.
Haven't had a pizza in a long while.
Nothing like a good pizzeria where you can find something to take home!
Re me being "cheeky." Yes! And sneaky, too! :)
Oh boy... that looks delicious! Pizza is far too tempting!
These take away shop shots are making me hungry.
Their name sounds like a cross between Irish & Italian! The pizza looks great! We go for pizza every Saturday at our local pub - I love it.
Oh that pizza looks wonderful!
I'd gladly go there for a pizza like the one you posted!
I like a pizza who is generous on the cheese topping !
Yum yum! I was actually at the wine fest last night and ate a take-away pizza with my wine. Unfortunately, my pizza man was not as friendly.
comment joindre l’utile a l’agréable ;))
Wow, great looking place, love the top picture with the street behind.
That looks like a cool place to get your pizza... and it looks dee-lish !
Beautiful pictures. I'd love to eat there.
So long since I had a good pizza.
That pizza looks perfect!
je serais bien en peine de participer à ce thême que tu as rendu très coloré
What a bonus that you can sit outside and eat your pizza as well as take it away!
That pizza looks fantastic. Looks to me like a good place to visit again one day.
I could break fast with this treat! Better that red hots too!
Oh yum! What a super place for 'take away'. Yes I know my English english---thanks. MB
J'ai l'eau à la bouche!
That looks so blooming luscious Ciel, is it a Margarita pizza? I mean to say even the box looks like a work of art.. only in Versailles :)
Square pizza? The round box is missing! Yum, though :)
I do not understand the O'Bottega thing, but the pizza looks like the real thing!
@ Shantaram: It is possible to put a round pizza in a large square box... :-)
@ VP: honestly it was good. Nice thin dough!
@ Perth: no, this is the house speciality: mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and basil.
Happy August to you too. Love the box, the contents and the whole series of shots.
Italian pizza?
Nice series, Ciel !
