Wohoo, it's August, the height of summer and it's Theme Day in the City Daily Photo community! Coming home from work last Monday to an empty fridge wasn't an option so the upcoming Theme Day provided the perfect excuse to try O'Bottega, a pizzeria on rue du Général Leclerc that VDP had heard of through the Facebook grapevine. Barbara and Walid's welcome was absolutely delightful and just look at the speciality pizza! Deliziosa! It is possible to eat there and to take away, which is what VDP did, as you will have gathered! Their Facebook page is this way and all takes on the August Theme are this way! Happy August!

ReplyDeleteAh, the never ending appeal of pizza. I believe you can find a pizzeria in every country in the world. My first meal in Paris after the long flight lo these many years ago was at Pizza Momo on rue St. Antoine. Still there! Your pizza looks better.
ReplyDeleteHaven't had a pizza in a long while.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a good pizzeria where you can find something to take home!
ReplyDeleteRe me being "cheeky." Yes! And sneaky, too! :)

ReplyDeleteThat looks so blooming luscious Ciel, is it a Margarita pizza? I mean to say even the box looks like a work of art.. only in Versailles :)
ReplyDeleteSquare pizza? The round box is missing! Yum, though :)
ReplyDeleteI do not understand the O'Bottega thing, but the pizza looks like the real thing!
ReplyDelete@ Shantaram: It is possible to put a round pizza in a large square box... :-)
ReplyDelete@ VP: honestly it was good. Nice thin dough!
