A l'Ermitage

Rue de l'Ermitage Versailles alley
This is a quaint little alley off Notre-Dame neighbourhood's Ermitage street. VDP has no clue what the building at the end (pictured below) might be or have been...

Une petite ruelle de la rue de l'Ermitage dans le quartier Notre-Dame. VDP n'a aucune idée de ce qu'est ou a pu être le bâtiment tout au fond (zoomé ci-dessous). Quelqu'un saurait le lui dire ?

That alley looks a little to small for cars to park, but I saw some in Paris where cars actually were parked in streets/alleys not much larger than this.

Re the building in back: In another setting, such as the wilds of Wyoming, I'd think it is an old barn that has disintegrated over the years.

There is no place that looks like this - top or bottom - in North America. Our alleys are charmless.

dans les années 70 il y avait à l'angle de la rue de l'Ermitage une petite clinique...c'est là que mes enfants sont nés !
