It looks cleaner now than it did before. The work appears to be going smoothly indeed.
I'm always glad to see old, historic buildings being saved and re-used! This is a great example!! Hope your week is off to a good start, Ciel!!
Wow - what a place that would be to live, Ciel!
The perspective in your first photo is excellent. Looking through those hairy gates is the way to see this!
Quite a place, looks like it might be an expensive place to live.
Like our new upcoming hotel in an old hospital, I don't know that I can stay in a place where so many died.
I wonder if such a job, with more housing for the rich, can ever be done "nicely." Your post also makes me wonder what a hospital was really like in the 18th and 19th Centuries.
It will be a pretty fancy place to live in but I am glad it will look like the original building. No more fires. MB
That's an interesting, and unexpected, transformation.
They appear to be doing a great job!
I bet those luxury flats will be something grand!

They are trying to do something like this here too, but the original building is not as good as yours...
it's coming right along! i don't know that i'd want to live in a re-done hospital! i'm sure it will be quite pricey!
I wouldn't mind living in such a hospital. I bet the flats will be fantastic! :-)
This made me think of a place I saw in Italy that looked like a huge villa and it turned out that it had been restored and turned into condominiums. I thought about how much fun it would be to live in a place like that.
You'll have to keep us up to date Ciel.. I agree with above, an apartment here would be quite something I should imagine.
I want to live there. :-)
Well preserved and looks amazing. That blue sky looks wonderful too. Really nice shot through the gate.
