Cathédrale vertige

Turn around from where you were standing yesterday and this is what you see: Saint-Louis cathedral! Update: to answer the questions posted, the king who was canonised saint was Louis IX.

I should know this because I grew up in Saint Louis, Missouri, but was one of the Kings of France named Louis actually made a Saint by the Roman Catholic Church? I don't think of the later King Louises (what is plural for Louis?) being very saintly in their lifestyle.

I like the way you composed this! Makes the cathedral look like it's reaching for the heavens, which is what it's supposed to do, I think.

Saint Louis IX and soon we'll have another saintly pope.

We can certainly relate to that around here. Our oldest church, almost under the Arch, as well as the big cathedral, have the same name.
