La maison de Madame Elisabeth

This is Madame Elisabeth's house. It is set in a lush, green garden, I just love the place! It was built in the 1770s by the prince and princess of Rohan-Guéméné and bought by Louis XVI who gave it to his sister in 1783.

It looks wonderful and rather mysterious, as if there is a story attached.

I love the way you have framed the house, providing a little glimpse through the trees!

It is so beautiful. Not sure I'd want to live in such a place but I'd like to visit and admire it. The royals of that day certainly did know how to live!
