Joli minois

Just a pretty face on a façade alongside the palace, on Avenue Nepveu Nord. You will note these buildings are matching the palace, as is explained here.

Juste un joli minois sur une façade à côté du château sur l'avenue Nepveu Nord. Vous noterez que ces bâtiments ressemblent au château, comme je l'expliquais ici.

I am envious of the extraordinary details on the buildings in your city. What a special place to wander.

Very pretty indeed! It makes me wonder if it was perhaps modeled after someone real...the sculptor's girlfriend, for example:) So interesting about the water control history too! (And thanks for your suggestion re: weekend reflections, I ought to take the plunge one day:)

Oh yes, such a pretty face. The first photo is lovely, and the second puts it in context.

I'm sure Londonlulu is right. Sometimes if you look very closely at them you can see the identifying mason's mark.

That's nice that the "wealth" of the palace spreads throughout the area...this is a very cool shot, Ciel, what with that sunny light on the girl's charming face!
