Un texan à Versailles

This is a bit of a rare sight in Versailles though thanks to the fact that the palace is one of the prime tourist lures of the world, we do get to see most of Europe's license plates!

C'est assez rare, généralement du fait du château, on voit toutes les plaques européennes !

Texas plates in Versailles!! Well, those guys do get around -- having been born and raised there, I can vouch for it. (Not something I brag about, you understand!!) Hope your weekend is going well!

Texas tags??? Strange. Even military personnel have to get European-type car tags.

We have alot of them here. Visitors from Texas love Santa Fe.

Mais il a quand même acheté une voiture Suédoise !

Certains américains achètent des voitures européennes et viennent les chercher. Il y a des combines.

That would be a jolt to the senses...from that decal, I'd guess the owner is in the USMC band. Still...

Well-spotted!

Leave it to a Texan to drive across the ocean! That's pretty cool! I haven't been visiting much this weekend, tomorrow's post will explain why. No, where is that ibuprofen?

Haha, how in the world did they get there? And here I thought the variety of state license plates at the nearby graduate school garage was impressive:)
