We've had distinct lack of golden light here, so this is lovely to see! I adore the shadows and love that it was du Barry's home. Spring has teased us here with cruelly brief glimpses, only to give way to more snow and rain.

I have heard stories to the effect that if you start fooling around with a mistress, the police could get involved! And boy, did they ever! Threw out the woman and took over her home! Zounds! I wonder if Inspector Clouseau was involved? :)
